Adult PBT-Ballet classes
Join our Adult PBT-Ballet classes, just a short walk from Star Lane DLR station.
Classes begin with a gentle Pilates warm up, followed by the revolutionary Progressing Ballet Technique, a discipline which allows the most beginners to master the technique of ballet in no time. The second part of our class will introduce you to the grace of ballet and will end with some deep and relaxing stretching…All abilities are welcome!
Our classes will engage your body in gentle but demanding exercises and focus your mind on an amazing Art enabling you to forget about the stress of life.
PBT is an innovative program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet.
Marie has been known for her creative teaching skills for over 40 years and has trained many professional dancers and teachers’ worldwide. She has experimented with outstanding success the use of muscle memory to improve students understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment for over 12 years. She has passed on her knowledge down to our teachers who are qualified to use her technique in parallel with our RAD training.
Our adult PBT-Ballet class is open to 16+ and comprises 30 mins of PBT, 30mins of Ballet and 15mins of deep relaxing stretching.
