Anna Sakellariou, Ballet and Contemporary Dance Teacher
Growing up Ms Anna always knew she loved dancing and teaching.
From an early age, and for 13 years she was a rhythmic gymnastics athlete in Greece, where she comes from.
At 15, she also decided to experiment with jazz, contemporary, hip hop, break dance but Ballet won her heart.
7 years later, she graduated from the professional dance school of “Niki Kontaksaki”- Greece, where she had the opportunity to gain experience in ballet, Repertoire, Contemporary dance, traditional Greek Dance, music theory, history of dance, improvisation and dance teaching from the best teachers and dancers on the national scene.
From then she also danced with the contemporary dance company “Anima Libera” in Athens, taking part in renowned national festivals.
Alongside her dancing journey, Ms Anna graduated, gaining her bachelor’s degree from the University of Patras – Greece, specialising in Early Childhood Treatment.
During and after her studies Ms Anna worked in nurseries, primary and secondary schools as a dance and creative movement teacher. She also worked as an artistic events director.
Her dancing journey took her here in the UK, and we are delighted to bring to you her bubbling passion for dance and children.
