That you wish to join for gentle exercise, to enjoy the music, socialise, or wish to come back after a long break; this class is the class for you!
It is open to all ages and levels of experience and fitness.
Our adult class comprises of exercises at the Barre, centre work and deep relaxing stretch to finish.
There is no set uniform at this level, Leggings and T-shirt with non-slippery socks (if no ballet shoes) is fine to start with.
But if you want to look the part, we advise our Repertoire uniform.

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet.
Marie has been known for her creative teaching skills for over 40 years and has trained many professional dancers and teachers worldwide. She has experimented with outstanding success the use of muscle memory to improve students understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment for over 12 years.
She has passed on her knowledge down to our teachers who are qualified to use her technique in parallel with our RAD training.
Our Adult Classes are for all ages and are suitable for the over-50s too.
Whatever your age, if you are looking for a new way to keep fit and active our adult ballet class will put a spring in your step. Whether you’ve never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it, our class has something for everyone.
The RAD developed the Silver Swan program based on research into dance practice for older learners and our adult classes are only taught by Silver Swans Licensees.
