Catherine Ibbotson, BA (Hons), ballet & contemporary teacher

Ms Catherine has been with us for more than 7 years and has now moved on to teach elsewhere, but we see her regularely as she comes often as a guest teacher for our events and more.

Ms Catherine first began dancing when she was three years old at her local dance school. Some years later, she went on to graduate with a triple distinction for her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance), and with a BA(Hons) in Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

While at Trinity Laban, Ms Catherine worked with many choreographers, and after graduating she began teaching ballet, creative classes, contemporary and street dance. Ms Catherine is also a contemporary and ballet dancer, performing regularly in and around London.

Fully registered RAD teacher, Ms Catherine is a strong pillar to our team, eager to stretch the children’s technique and imagination and encouraging them to build their confidence in an inspiring environment. She very much enjoys her time at the school, hoping to continue for many more years and so do we!
