Svenja Buehl, BA (Hons), MFA, Contemporary Teacher

Ms Svenja is a dance artist working internationally as a teacher, facilitator, performer, and maker within the fields of community and education, choreographic contexts.

She has worked in the field of Pedagogy and Community Dance Practice since 2008 and works with people of all ages and abilities in numerous environments.

Training in dance pedagogy, she graduated in 2009 from Lola Rogge Schule, Hamburg (Germany). She then went on to further her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, having graduated in 2015 with a BA (hons) in Contemporary Dance and with an MFA in Creative Practice in 2020 from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Independent Dance / Siobhan Davies Dance.

Svenja is part of the award-winning Ireland based Undercurrent Dance Company, for which she facilitates community workshops and performance projects at The Dock Arts Centre and online.

She is really excited to be working for MyBallet Academy and to share her love for dance with your child; and so are we to have her on board!
